Writers’ & Artists’ Runner-up 2022
Figen Gungor’s work-in-progress, On The Shore, received the 2022 runner-up prize for the W&A Working-Class Writers' Prize.
She is now looking for an agent who will help actualize her dreams of becoming a published author.
Before delving into her passion she graduated from the University of Leicester with a degree in English Literature and soon went on to teach abroad in Japan for a year and a half. Now, she works as an editorial assistant for an academic publisher.
